Kyle Hemenover is a strategic financial leader who embraces change and is committed to continuous improvement initiatives with a focus on developing talent. Kyle brings a global perspective, and his vast experience in various manufacturing and distribution industries is a testament to his expertise. He is passionate about innovative strategy, organizational design and development, and the building and leading of high-caliber teams. Kyle began his 18+ year finance and accounting career with RSM’s Chicago-based audit team. Prior to joining Strive Consulting and The Planet Group as VP of Finance, Kyle spent five years at Transco Inc., initially as Corporate Controller, and was quickly promoted to CFO, helping them navigate several divestitures during this tenure. Kyle is a Certified Public Accountant and holds a master’s in business administration from the University of Notre Dame.

Over 30 years of experience in leadership roles in sales, marketing, technical support, training and business development in the animal health industry. Known for his business development acumen and leadership and mentoring skills, Charlie has successfully led strategic negotiations, cultivated high-value relationships, and consistently delivered impressive results. A champion of team building, Charlie empowers cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, integrity, and transparency. His leadership not only drives company performance but also prioritizes a healthy work-life balance, equipping teams with the tools and support needed to achieve success at every level

Joel brings over 20 years of leadership experience spanning call centers, marketing, digital marketing/eCommerce, and customer experience. With 15+ years in sales and operations leadership, he excels in driving growth, building high-performing teams, and fostering cross-functional collaboration. Known for his competitive drive, strategic negotiation skills, and passion for mentoring, Joel leads with authenticity and energy.
Outside of work, he stays active with his wife and four boys, who are deeply involved in sports and various activities.

As co-founder of PetStore Direct, he helped turn a bold idea into a thriving company, reshaping the pet grooming industry with innovation, efficiency, and a strong company culture. Jeff LaPietra graduated from West Virginia University in 1991, and he began his lifelong career in veterinary and medical supply sales at Medline, where he developed a deep understanding of the industry. With a passion for entrepreneurship, he later took the reins of Med-Vet International, a modest family-owned business. He transformed it into a thriving and well-respected enterprise within the healthcare community. His dedication and strategic vision played a crucial role in driving the company’s growth and success.
